On the sidelines of the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, I had a meaningful meeting with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş. We discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, the peace process in the South Caucasus and the region as a whole. I also presented the ‘’Crossroads of Peace’’ project of the Armenian government. As reported by the press service of the Armenian parliament, Simonyan presented the Turkish side with the latest developments in the process of negotiations on a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and confirmed the readiness of the Armenian side for the peace process. -0-/p brp/p
