Simonyan, Gafarova meeting cancelled in Geneva

ArmInfo.The scheduled meeting between Alen Simonyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia, and Sahiba Gafarova, the Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, in Geneva has been canceled, as reported by Movses Harutyunyan, the press secretary of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament.

 According to him, the Azerbaijani side withdrew from the previously reached agreement at the last moment.  "The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia will make an additional clarification about the reasons for the cancellation of the meeting upon returning to Yerevan," Harutyunyan added.
