OTS scheme extended to March 31

Disappointing most bankers in the state, the state government has decided to extend the one-time settlement (OTS) scheme for mining-affected borrowers till March 31. The decision is a boon for Goa Urban Cooperative Bank which had asked for the extension as its board had failed to approve the government’s OTS scheme within the stipulated time.
