Almost two years after a case was filed in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) about inaccessible medical institutions being a violation of human rights of the disabled, there appears to be little progress with the Medical Council of India (MCI) not responding to the request that accessibility be added as a criteria for medical colleges and institutions to be given approval.
