State gets its 1st EEZ police station in Porbandar

Gujarat is likely to get its first coastal police sta tion soon at Nava Bandar in Porbandar, which will register offences regarding incidents taking place in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) -from 12 nautical miles to 200 nauti cal miles from the Indian coast The offences within 12 nautica miles are registered with other marine police stations in coas tal states.
