Eliso Kiladze claims that Manana Kobakhidze and Eka Beselia took money for making up list of political prisoners

"I know that there are facts and serious information that the money was made here," - said the editor of the newspaper Chronicle Plus.

Eliso Kiladze responded to the statement of the former chairman of the Pardon commission. Aleko Elisashvili was questioned at the prosecutor`s office in connection withalleged interference by the authorities in release of prisoners.

The journalist also recalls the issue of drafting lists of political prisoners and insists that there was  bargaining in connection with this issue. according to eliso Kiladze, MP Eka Beselia and Vice Speaker Manana Kobakhidze received money in exchange for prisoners` pardon.

"Yes, there was grounded suspicion over the active involvement of the high-ranking officials in the activity of the Pardon Commission We had information that there was bargaining. For example, for making up lists of political prisoners, some people received money . Eka beselia is not the only one , Manana Kobakhidze was alsoinvolved, these people were in the past the human rights defenders, but, it turned out, that they were making money on pardoned prisoners ", - said Eliso Kiladze.
