Elections Analyst on Tightening Polls in the Presidential Election: “This Is As Close… As Any Election I’ve Covered in About 20 Years”

Sean Trende, Senior Elections Analyst for Real Clear Politics, joined The Guy Benson Show today to discuss the razor-thin nature of the upcoming election, which he describes as the closest race he’s seen in his 20 years covering politics. Trende shared why he believes polling may be overestimating one of the candidates and explained that early voting numbers likely will not accurately predict the final outcome. Trende had this to say on the state of the race 6 days away from election day:

“I know your audience is not going to like this one bit, but I think the big picture is this is really close. This is as close in the polling as any election I’ve covered in about 20 years of doing this. So while we might get into, you know, what we read between the lines and what vibes say and stuff, the big answer is this is a very close election. So if you want to have a say, go out and vote because you don’t want to wake up on Wednesday and think, Man, I could have made a difference.”
