In early February 2023, the Armenian government approved the concept of universal health insurance, which envisions a phased introduction of the system from 2023 to 2027, covering all types of medical services, excluding dentistry and plastic surgery. The plan includes creating an insurance infrastructure that provides medical services of equal quality and accessibility to all beneficiaries, regardless of social status./pp
According to the draft, joining the system will be voluntary, and from 2025, pensioners will be included at the expense of the state. By 2027, the system will be mandatory for all citizens. -0-/pp nbsp;/pp nbsp;/pp nbsp;/pp nbsp;/p
