Whole Foods adds global VP of culinary and hospitality, a new leadership role
Whole Foods Market Inc. has named Tien Ho global vice president of culinary and hospitality, a newly created leadership role. Ho will lead the prepared foods and bakery team out of the Austin headquarters, starting Jan. 2016. Ho was previously at Morgans Hotel Group, owners of 10 hotel brands including the Delano and Royalton, where he was responsible for all aspects of the culinary department such as partnerships with celebrity chefs and recruitment. He was named Best New Chef by New York magazine in 2011 while at Ma Peche, a New York restaurant. Whole Foods shares are down 37.8% for the year so far. The S&P is about flat for the same period.
