Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia released a statement. According to it Russia violated Georgian-controlled airspace yesterday as well.
" On December 9,2015 at about 18:48 pm , Russian drones, illegally deployed in the territory of occupied Tskhinvali violated airspace, controlled by the Georgian central government and flew over the checkpoints of Ministry of Internal affairs of Georgia, which are located in the villages of Koshka and Gugutiantkari,"- is stated in an announcement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia confirms the fact, that a Russian helicopter violated today Georgian airspace.
" On December 10,2015 at about 12:48 pm, Russian helicopter, illegally deployed in the territory of occupied Tskhinvali violated airspace, controlled by the Georgian central government and flew over the police station, located in the village of Mereti,"- is stated in an announcement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assesses both facts as provocation.

‘This provocative act of a sovereign state, is yet another confirmation that the Russian Federation is ignoring the fundamental norms and principles of international law,"- says the statement.
