Merge Mum, Maha telecom circles: MPs

Nearly ten MPs from the state on Thursday approached the Union telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad asking for a merger of the Mumbai and Maharashtra circles. If their plea is accepted, consumer bills can reduce by anything between Rs 80 to Rs 200 (depending on number of inter-circle calls).
