Christmas Day to be working holiday for babus this year too

Christmas Day will be a ‘working holiday’ for state government employees. A circular issued by the state general administration department stated that the government has decided to celebrate Christmas, also the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, as Good Governance Day. The Centre’s decision last year had caused a public outcry.
