PM's statement in Parliament irks GMOA

The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) while showing their disapproval about Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe's statement about the GMOA in Parliament on Wednesday, pointed out that their organisation consists of professionals who act with responsibility and democracy.

The Prime Minister while addressing Parliament on Wednesday accused GMOA President Dr. Anurudda Padeniya and the Association for backing former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and not backing the resolution in Sri Lanka which led to the establishment of democracy in the country.
