[Ticker] Steinmeier: EU vision could 'crumble'

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier told a congress of the centre-left SPD party Thursday that unless there is EU solidarity on refugees "fences and barriers will again be raised ... and then the vision of a united Europe crumbles," Reuters reports. He urged EU leaders to "oppose the right-wing populists."
