Star Wars' cancelled game and live action TV projects could still happen
After Disney spent $4.2bn to acquire Star Wars in 2012, it made good on its purchase by... wiping the continuity slate clean of anything other than the six movies to that point and The Clone Wars CGI TV series. It was a decision that not only eradicated some Expanded Universe gems, but also killed anything that was in-development at the time.
Notably, that included the noir-inspired video game Star Wars 1313 and Star Wars: Underworld, a George Lucas-penned live-action television series, both set to take place between the end of Revenge of the Sith and the beginning of A New Hope. However, they might not be as dead and buried as expected.
