Armenia`s ambassador to France meets with OIF Sec Gen, UNESCO  Director Gen

ArmInfo.On the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission in France, Armenian Ambassador Hasmik Tolmajyan met with Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) Louise Mushikiwabo and Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Audrey Azoulay.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian Embassy in France, Tolmajyan thanked Louise Mushikiwabo for the solidarity and support provided to Armenia by the OIF. In turn, the Secretary General expressed satisfaction with the rich program of cooperation between the OIF and the Armenian side, emphasizing that Armenia made a great contribution to the success of the 19th Francophonie Summit held in Paris.


During the meeting with the Director General of UNESCO, an exchange of views took place on the ongoing processes in the South Caucasus region and the existing problems in the field of cultural heritage protection. The Ambassador thanked the Director-General for the attention shown by the Director-General to issues affecting Armenia and for UNESCO's principled position.
