Sooraj Pancholi's mother Zarina Wahab makes startling revelation on Jiah Khan's suicide, 'Usne 4-5 baar try kiya thha’
On June 3, 2013, actress Jiah Khan died by suicide. The news shook the film industry and people, as the actress was quite young and had just started her acting journey. At that time, Khan was dating actor Sooraj Pancholi, who was arrested on the charges of abetment of suicide. Action was taken against Sooraj based on a six-page note that mentioned details on the problems in their relationship. As per the reports, the note also allegedly mentioned Jiah's "intimate relationship, physical abuse, and mental and physical torture' by Sooraj. In 2023, the Hero star was acquitted in the case, and now his mother, Zarina Wahab, has spoken up about the same.

Zarina Wahab made a startling revelation about Jiah Khan. The veteran actress stated that even before meeting Sooraj Pancholi, the Ghajini star attempted suicide several times. The actress told Lehre, "Uske pehle bhi usne 4-5 baar try kiya hai, lekin naseeb aisi thi ki jab mere bete ka turn aaya toh it happened (even before that, she had tried 4-5 times, but it was destiny that when my son's turn came, it happened)."
Further in this entertainment news, the Mr and Mrs Mahi actress revealed how the entire family went through a bad time when Sooraj faced issues in his professional life due to the case. However, the actress said that she believes if someone's life is spoilt with lies, it should be taken as a loan as it will come to that person as an interest. She believes in karma.
Zarina Wahab added that they waited for his son to be proven not guilty, and it took 10 years. However, they are happy that now he is out of it. "It has affected Sooraj's career. Woh kya karti thi sab jaante hai (Everyone knows what she used to do), I don't want to open my mouth. Bolke mein apne aap ko chota nahi karna chahti hoon (I don't want to stoop to that level by talking about it)," said Zarina.

Meanwhile, Jiah Khan made her Bollywood debut in the 2007 film Nishabd, which stars Amitabh Bachchan. The actress also worked in Aamir Khan's Ghajini and Akshay Kumar's Housefull. The later was Khan's last movie.
