Brianna Lyman: There Is No Coming To The Middle With People Who Want To Drain The Taxpayers

0

Elections Correspondent for The Federalist Brianna Lyman joins Fox Across America With guest host Rich Zeoli to share her thoughts on the why a significant number of GOP lawmakers quickly came out against the bipartisan government funding bill that congressional leadership rolled out on Tuesday.

“You know, they’d have an easier time reading it if they didn’t make all these, you know, B.S. stuffed bills go through. Right? 1500 plus pages. That doesn’t even make sense. Right? They should have had a clean continuing resolution to keep the government open for the next few weeks. All of these pet projects by Republicans and Democrats are unnecessary. And there’s a lot of pork right now from Democrats. They finally, months after people in North Carolina had been living in tents, been stranded without food and water. Now Democrats want to pretend they care about North Carolinians? I mean, honestly, go kick rocks, right? I care just as much as about the North Carolinians, which is why Republicans should introduce a standalone aid bill for American victims and let Democrats vote on it. And if Democrats decide they’re not going to vote on that because it doesn’t include their pet projects, let them explain to the American people why they voted to not help Americans without getting some kind of kickback in return.”
