From being a father to his career choice, Varun spoke about it all. In an interaction, the Badlapur actor talked about his drive, Manoj, who passed away in 2022. Varun Dhawan on his driver's death
In an interaction, Varun Dhawan stated that for a long time, he was living in a bubble and there's a difference between who he was before and after 35. In the conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, the actor was almost in tears and said that he used to see himself in an idealistic way, as a hero who can say anything any day because he plays that person on screen. However, the day his driver died, he felt like he "failed" himself.
The October actor said that he was very close to his driver, Manoj. "He passed suddenly while we were working. I did CPR. We took him to Lilavati Hospital and we got him there on time. It was like we saved someone's life. But he passed away in my arms. It was hard to see how casual his passing was. It just happened like that." Varun added that he has worked less since his driver's passing two years ago and he is releasing a movie after two years in theatres.
Further in this entertainment news, Varun claimed that he started reading the Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana to cope with grief. He realised that he has to move forward as a human being. "These incidents shake you, but you can't stay stagnant. I began reading the Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, and Ramayana just randomly because I had so many questions," said the actor.
