Anurag Kashyap slams Hindi film industry

In an interview, Anurag Kashyap stated that in the Hindi film industry, it has become difficult for him to go out and experiment as it comes at a cost. The Gangs of Wasseypur director said how his producers make him think about profits and margins. "Right from the beginning, before the film starts, it becomes about how to sell it. So, the joy of filmmaking is sucked out. That's why I want to move out of Mumbai next year," said Kashyap.

Further in this entertainment news, the Black Friday director said that he is going to the South and plans to go where there is stimulation; otherwise, he will die as an old man. "I am so disappointed and disgusted by my own industry. I am disgusted by the mindset," said Anurag. Citing the example of Manjummel Boys, the filmmaker said that Bollywood would never make a movie like this but instead remake it if it's successful.
