While box office has been unpredictable in 2024, the content on OTT has been performing consistently well. Paatal Lok 2: Amazon Prime Video
Paatal Lok started streaming on Amazon Prime Video in 2020 and became a rage. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the second season and the wait is finally over as the second season is all set to drop in January 2025. Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishwak Singh return this season as well and there will be some fresh faces as well that will join the cast and an all new riveting story.
Stardom: Netflix
Aryan Khan's directorial debut has been much talked about and one that everyone has their eyes on. Stardom stars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Ranbir Kapoor amongst others and promises to tell the inside story of the world of entertainment and take the audience behind the scenes of what it means to be a star.
Jewel Thief: Netflix
Saif Ali Khan is coming back to OTT with a heist thriller and joining him is Jaideep Ahlawat.
Pritam Pedro: Disney+ Hotstar
Vikrant Massey and Arshad Warsi come together for this crime thriller produced by Rajkumar Hirani, also marking the filmmaker's digital debut. The story is said to be around cyber crime.
Matka King: Amazon Prime Video
Set in the 1960s, Matka King starring Vijay Varma tells the story of a gambling kingpin.
The Trials Season 2: Disney+ Hotstar
Kajol and Kubbra Sait return in this riveting saga about a family surrounded with corruption and scandal.
Rakht Brahmand: Netflix
Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi will star in this action thriller produced by Raj & DK who are known for their pacy thrillers.
Chhorii 2: Amazon Prime Video
Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan will be back with another horror tale inspired by folklore. Like the earlier one, this one is also expected to be a commentary on the plight of the girl child and women in India and the crimes against them.
The Family Man 3: Amazon Prime Video
One of the most awaited series, Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari will be seen in the third season of his spine-chilling thriller with the cast from the original series joining him. The crew has wrapped the shooting for the new season already and Manoj's post 'aur thoda intezaar', has fans excited for its release.
The official release dates for the aforementioned OTT series and movies are not disclosed yet but these remain the most-awaited of 2025 amongst ardent OTT fans.
