Amitabh Bachchan once admitted he'd tolerate comments on Abhishek, but not Aishwarya Rai, '...till my last breath'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's divorce rumours spread like wild fire and everyone had only this to talk about on social media. Every little move of the stars was connected to these stories around separation. The two were not spotted together on many occasions and one of them was Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani's pre-wedding bash. This made everyone think that they have been separated.
Aishwarya was not spotted at Abhishek's house and her birthday celebration with just daughter made everyone feel something is wrong. However, recently, we saw the couple coming together for their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan's annual day function. They walked hand in hand and Aishwarya was also seen helping Amitabh Bachchan as they entered together.
When Big B got angry on media for disrespecting Aishwarya
Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared a good bond since the start. Once, Big B got angry when a Mumbai tabloid made false statements about his daughter-in-law. The reports said that Aishwarya have a baby with Abhishek Bachchan because of stomach tuberculosis.
Big B took to his blog to slam the report and for talking about their personal lives. He criticised the media for spreading false and insensitive information about his daughter-in-law. He shared how much sensitive topics hurts the sentiments of the person.
He went on to defend Aishwarya and said that he will not tolerate anyone disrespecting her. He wrote, "Aishwarya is not my daughter-in-law, she is my daughter, a woman, a lady in my house and home. If anyone will speak derogatorily about her, I shall fight for her till my last breath. If you have something to say to the men in the house, Abhishek or me, I shall bear it. BUT if you shall make injudicious remarks on the women in my home, I shall not tolerate it !!!" Aishwarya and Abhishek got married in 2007 and welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya in 2011.
