NJ Ends Basic Literacy Test for Teachers

0

As of January 1st, New Jersey TEACHERS are NO LONGER required to pass the basic literacy test. I kid you not.

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

Our students- on average- are failing and if they’re not failing, the standards have been lowered to “fail-proof” their performance.

But instead of cleaning all this crap up and getting back to basics, New Jersey decided to lower the standards for TEACHERS!

Based on an act signed into law by Democrat Governor Phil Murphy, “individuals seeking an instructional certificate will no longer need to pass the Praxis Core Test, a basic skills test for reading, writing, and math that is administered by the state’s Commissioner of Education.”

According to Democrat state senator Jim Beach, who sponsored this move, the state needs more teachers and lowering the standards is apparently the best way to get them.

The New Jersey entity associated with the major National Education Association was reportedly the driving force behind this move.

Apparently they believe the literacy test to be an unnecessary barrier for educators.

This is truly the blind leading the blind!
