Mahindra Announces Prices for BE 6 and XEV 9e Top Variants
Mahindra unveiled the pricing of the top-end variants (Pack Three) of its premium electric SUVs, BE 6 and XEV 9e, at ₹26.9 lakh and ₹30.5 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The announcement follows their reveal at the Unlimit India Tech Day in November 2024 and marks Mahindra’s efforts to democratize advanced EV technology.
Premium Features and Performance
The BE 6 and XEV 9e Pack Three variants are built on Mahindra’s INGLO electric skateboard platform, offering a 79 kWh battery with a real-world range exceeding 500 km. Both models feature a 210 kW motor, enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h in under 7 seconds. Fast-charging capabilities ensure the battery charges from 20% to 80% in under 20 minutes using a 175 kW DC charger.
Advanced technologies include MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture), powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip, delivering seamless connectivity, real-time updates, and a futuristic driving experience. Exclusive features include:
• Wide Cinemascope Display: A 110 cm panoramic screen in the XEV 9e.
• VisionX AR-HUD: Augmented reality heads-up display for intuitive navigation.
• Infinity Roof and LightMeUp Lighting: Panoramic views and customizable ambiance.
• Secure360 and EyeDentity Systems: Enhanced safety with 360-degree cameras and driver monitoring for fatigue detection.
Accessible Pricing Through “Three for Me” Scheme
To make these luxury EVs more accessible, Mahindra introduced the “Three for Me” finance program. Customers can opt for monthly EMIs of ₹39,224 for the BE 6 and ₹45,450 for the XEV 9e, with a balloon payment at the end of six years. This pricing aligns with the EMI of lower Pack One variants, enabling more buyers to experience premium EV technology.
