Urvashi Rautela's leaked bathroom video was for 'awareness'? Daaku Maharaj actress reacts, 'Ladkiyon ko...'

Urvashi Rautela has been grabbing a lot of headlines lately. First, her song Dabidi Dibidi got a lot of backlash for its controversial choreography and age gap with Nandamuri Balakrishna. Later, she was trolled for mentioning her movie Daaku Maharaj's box office collection and flaunting her Rolex when asked about the attack on Saif Ali Khan. The actress has again grabbed headlines for her next interview.

Recently, Urvashi Rautela was asked about her leaked private bathroom video. At that time, a conversation between her and her manager was also leaked. Many were shocked to see how her privacy was violated, only to find out it was a scene from her movie Ghuspaithiya. In an interview, the actress revealed that the video was leaked on purpose.

Urvashi Rautela told BollywoodLife, "Unko kuch debt aa gaya tha, aur kuch udhari wagairah mein (They were indebted and were caught up in loans and such). They had to let go of their land and all. Woh sadak pe aane wale the (They were on the verge of being out on the streets). And so they came and discussed it with my business manager, head, and all."

In the same interview, the Daaku Maharaj actor mentioned that the makers took her permission before leaking the video and it wasn't anything special. She added, "Woh movie ka hi scene tha. Toh un makers ka yeh ek request thi ki kya hum isko pehle leak out kar sakte hain. And it was sort of an awareness also ki ladkiyon ko have to be careful (it was a scene from the movie; it wasn't something special we had done). It was part of the movie itself. The makers requested if they could release it early. It was also intended to create awareness, especially for girls to be cautious."
