Urvashi Rautela’s scenes axed from Daaku Maharaaj OTT release? Here's what we know

If there's a movie that has been widely discussed in January, it is Daaku Maharaaj. All thanks to Urvashi Rautela, who ensured that she promoted the movie in the best way possible in every interview. It all started when she was asked her views on Saif Ali Khan's attack but the actress made it about her movie crossing Rs 105 crore at the box office and the diamond-studded Rolex and small watch her parents gave her as a gift. The movie also stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role.

Thanks to all the memes and jokes, Daaku Maharaaj only became more popular. Now, the movie is all set to have its OTT release on Netflix on February 21, 2025. However, some reports suggest that Urvashi Rautela's scenes from the OTT version might get removed. Yes, you read it right!

A report by NDTV mentioned that Netflix has reportedly edited out Urvashi's scenes from her film with Nandamuri Balakrishna. So far, this is just a speculation and there has been no official confirmation regarding the same, neither from the makers nor from the Netflix team. So all we can do is wait till the movie release to know if Rautela's scenes are there or not.

The speculation started after Netflix shared the official OTT release poster earlier this week. The platform showcased the entire Daaku Maharaaj cast on it, except for Urvashi Rautela. Yet again, netizens gave hilarious reactions to the poster and wondered why the best promoter of the movie is excluded from the announcement poster.

Meanwhile, the Telugu action drama is directed by Bobby Kolli and also stars Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Pradeep Rawat, Shraddha Srinath, Sachin Khedekar and others.
