Armenian Deputy PM, European Commission official discuss potential  for unblocking regional communications 

ArmInfo.  Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan discussed the potential for unblocking regional communications at a meeting with a delegation led by Gert Jan Koopman, Director General for Enlargement  and Eastern Neighborhood  at the European Commission.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian government, the parties discussed enhancing regional cooperation, specifically focusing on the implementation of the Armenian government's Crossroads of Peace initiative.


The interlocutors emphasized the importance of expanding economic, transportation, energy, and communication connectivity between the European Union, the South Caucasus and Asian regions.  The meeting also discussed the measures planned for 2025-2027, as part of the Sustainability and Growth Plan announced in Brussels in 2024.
