Mission Impossible 8 box office collection day 2: Tom Cruise starrer continues to dominate..., earns THIS amount
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning has been smashing box office records and how! The film has been keeping viewers hooked, courtesy it's gripping plot and Tom Cruise's flawless action scenes. One can easily say that the film continued to perform well at the Box Office on the second day of its release.
Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning released in cinemas on May 17 in India and opened to Rs 16.5 crores. Since then it has been receiving positive reviews. On its second day, it managed to cross the Rs 30 crore mark in India. As Sacnilk reports, Mission: Impossible earned Rs 16.5 crores on Sunday.
Major part of the collection has been earned from its English version, followed by Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Talking about occupancy, Mission: Impossible had an average occupancy of 43.39% on Sunday. During its the morning shows, the occupancy was 28.39%, while in the afternoon shows, it was 49.53%. In the evening shows, it witnessed 51.70% occupancy rate. Mission: Impossible earned Rs 17 crores on its first day with Rs 11.25 crores from English, Rs 4.65 crores from Hindi, Rs 7 lakhs from Telugu and Rs 4 lakhs from Tamil.
Tom enjoys a strong fan following in India, and his fans have been lauding his performance in the recently released film. Such has been the film's impact that it managed to surpass all the Marvel movies' openings released this year, including Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts, which opened with Rs 4.2 crores and Rs 3.8 crores, respectively.
As per reports, Tom has also beaten Akshay Kumar's Sky Force which opened at Rs 12.25 crore, Kesari Chapter 2 with Rs 7.75 crore opening and Sunny Deol's Jaat with Rs 9.50 crore opening.
Talking about Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning, it is a sequel to Dead Reckoning Part One (2023). The film stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, and Angela Bassett in important roles.
