Corpn plans to sell school walls for ad space, angers activists

In an attempt to increase revenue, the city corporation plans to sell advertisement space on the walls of the 280-odd schools it administers as well as in parks, playgrounds, administrative buildings and on streets. The move has irked activists who feel that educational institutions in particular should not be subject to commercialisation.
