Martin Shkreli's KaloBios files for bankruptcy
KaloBios Pharmaceuticals Inc. filed for Ch. 11 bankruptcy on Tuesday, according to information posted online by a U.S. bankruptcy court in Delaware. That filing comes as the drug company, which has been majority owned by controversial biotech investor Martin Shkreli, said Tuesday that it's been granted a February hearing on its appeal of the Nasdaq's decision to delist its shares. KaloBios Pharma's stock has been halted since Dec. 17, the day that Shkreli was arrested on fraud charges.
