With No. 1 Palestine Westwood and No. 2 Lovelady both losing and Troup moving to 9-0 with a 35-21 win over No. 12 West Rusk, the Tigers moved up to the top spot. Mount Enterprise (8-0), which took an 82-60 shootout victory over Lovelady, jumped from No. 6 to No. 2. Frankston, Winnsboro and Westwood round out the top five.
