Arraignment Of PDP Chieftain Stalled
The arraignment of a People’s Democratic Party stalwart Haliru Mohammed at a Federal High Court Abuja was today, December, 30 stalled due to ill-health.

Sources close to Mohammed said he(Haliru Mohammed) has been sick hence cannot be arraigned today as scheduled.
Mohammed, an ex-chairman of PDP and former minister of defense alongside his son, Abbah Mohammed are alleged to have aided in the diversion of funds slated for arms procurement by the Office of the National Security Adviser.

The charge sheet – a four-count charge – by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was scheduled for afore-mention on Thursday, December 30.
Also, a former national security adviser Sambo Dasuki is currently facing charges bordering on money laundering, diversion of funds meant for arms purchase and criminal abuse of public trust.
Dasuki is alleged to have diverted $2.1 billion, money meant for the purchase of arms and weapon, the State Security Service said.
