Teetotallers in demand to drive reveller friends home after party

Diana Furtado, a bank official and Nerul resident, usually keeps away from New Year parties, preferring movies at home or a nearby theatre with family or friends. But this New Year’s Eve, she has been roped in by her friends in the housing society to party at a Bandra pub and then drive them home. Diana, who does not drink, said this will save them at least a thousand rupees on hiring a driver or a car.
