Former Newcastle Goalkeeper Dies Of Heart Attack

A former Newcastle United goalkeeper, Pavel Srnicek has died of a heart attack after suffering a cardiac arrest in Czech Republic.

The 47-year-old retired goalkeeper had earlier suffered a cardiac arrest during his morning exercise routine, the paramedics rushed him to the hospital where he has been kept in the intensive care unit. He gave up the gave ghost nine day later.

He played for West Ham United in the EPL, and also he was loved by many during his time at the St. James Park between 1991 and 1998.

Amongst others in the EPL, he had played for Sheffield Wednesday, and Portsmouth. He has been capped by country, Czech Republic a record 49 times.

However, his agent, Steve Wraith,”irreversible damage” was discovered after his brain was scanned and they he “had to be taken” off the life support machine.

“Pav passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, 29 December 2015, with his family by his side.”
