Only several hours separate us from the new year. Millions of Nigerians will be celebrating at homes, with the families, relatives and the loved ones.
However, millions of Nigerians, especially living in the troubled northeast of Nigeria, will not. They have either lost homes, or the loved ones, or simply too scared for their lives to embrace any celebrations this evening and night.
