How High Court Judge Duped Shekarau Of $60,000
A serving High Court Judge in Kano state Judiciary has allegedly connived with a woman and duped former minister of education, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau of the sum of $60,000.
Already, operatives from the office of the assistant inspector general of police in charge of Zone 1 have arrested his lordship for questioning where he spent a night before granting him bail.

The accused, Justice Kabiru Auta was arrested by police at the venue of NBA conference midway into activities of the learned professional and threw the serene atmosphere into confusion and disbelief with Judges, Khadis, lawyers and other prominent personalities disgusted.
He is being accused of conniving with a woman (now at large) who pretends to be Justice Miriam Aloma Mukhtar, the erstwhile Chief Justice of Nigeria and approached Shekarau and solicited his donation towards building a befitting mosque at the premises of the Supreme Court, Abuja.
Unknown to him (Shekarau) and considering his (Justice Auta’s) presumed closeness with the former CJN, the former education minister gave them $60,000 as his personal donation and promised to talk to other prominent Nigerians to contribute towards erecting the structure intended to be her legacy after serving her tenure.

However, the public relations officer of the zone has confirmed the arrest of Justice Kabiru Auta but said that he only spent a night there before he was granted bail.
As at the time of filing this report, the assistant inspector general of police (AIG) in Charge of Zone1, has ordered the manhunt of Nasir Salisu Zango, the journalist that broke the news who is working with Freedom Radio, Kano.
