Delhi Police gets 4,227 officers for investigations

ine years after the Supreme Court delivered a landmark judgment directing separation of investigation work from law and order maintenance duties among others, the government gave the first set of 4,227 officers to Delhi Police who are likely to be used mainly for investigations.
