ALPENA — Back to back losses within Big North Conference play had the Petoskey boys basketball team looking for some answers. The Northmen found them on the road recently. Playing Midland in Cadillac’s annual Jeff McDonald Memorial Showcase, Petoskey responded with a 69-38 victory Saturday. They then followed that up with a makeup game against Alpena Monday, earning an impressive 70-24 victory.
