MIDDLE POINT – Lincolnview boys’ basketball coach Brett Hammons knows how big the rivalry is between Crestview and Lincolnview. Hammons, a 2001 graduate of Crestview and former basketball player, has experienced both the highs and lows of this cross-county game. On Friday night, Hammons added one more of those special experiences to his list as Lincolnview took over in the fourth quarter and pulled away from Crestview for a 57-44 victory and notched the Northwest Conference outright title.
