LAPWAI — On Lapwai’s senior night, the Wildcats defeated Timberline of Weippe 68-54 in a nonleague boys basketball encounter on Monday. Lapwai (14-6) honored Triston Konen, Vincent Kipp and Anton Arthur with a pregame ceremony. “It was good to give the seniors the last hurrah in their home gym,” said Lapwai coach Zachary Eastman. Kipp led the Wildcats with 19 points. He made six field goals, including two 3-pointers and was 5-of-8 from the free-throw line. Jared Marek Jr. totaled 17 points.
