OTTAWA – When Ottoville struggled to hit shots in Wednesday’s Division VII district semifinal girls’ basketball game against Kalida, Ottoville coach Vaughn Horstman was not overly concerned. Horstman knew he could count on his team’s defense to pull them through. Ottoville’s defensive pressure took over Wednesday’s game and propelled the Big Green to a hard-fought 38-28 victory over Kalida at Ottawa-Glandorf High School.
