Georgia basketball's ugly NCAA Tournament exit will linger into offseason

The dust is still settling on the way Georgia basketball’s season crashed with a thud Thursday night in Buffalo. The Saint Louis team that trucked the Bulldogs 102-77 in the Men’s NCAA Tournament first round was sent packing itself in a 23-point loss to Michigan Saturday. The SEC went 13-6 through the first weekend, but the No. 8 seeded Bulldogs exit was particularly jarring. Georgia tied for the most points given up by an SEC team in the tournament since 2008 when a No. 1 seed North Carolina beat No. 8 Arkansas 108-77 in a second-round game.
