Young musicians from Artsakh to perform a series of concerts in  Armenia`s regions

ArmInfo.Young musicians from Artsakh will perform a series of concerts titled "Living Sounds Born in Artsakh" in Armenia's regions.

As the event organizers' press service told ArmInfo, the goal of the concerts is to provide young musicians from the "Born in Artsakh" program with the opportunity to gain professional stage experience by performing in various regions of Armenia. The concerts will take place in Abovyan, Gyumri, Dilijan, Vanadzor, Tashir, and Kapan.

"This initiative aims to create a solid foundation for their further creative development, as well as provide opportunities for performing on international stages. One of the key components of the program is to foster direct, live communication between young musicians and audiences. Following the forced displacement of Artsakh residents, they found themselves in different regions of Armenia, limiting their ability to maintain contact with one another. The concert series aims to restore these connections through culture, facilitating live communication through music," the statement reads.

It should be noted that the initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the "Born in Artsakh" program and the Jinishyan Memorial Foundation. According to the event organizers, the "Born in Artsakh" program was initiated by UNICEF National Ambassador and conductor Sergey Smbatyan. The program was launched in 2023 following the forced displacement of Artsakh residents to ensure the continued education and professional development of talented young musicians from Artsakh. According to the source, 23 children participate in the program, receiving support that includes vocational training, participation in international master classes, foreign language courses, cultural trips, performing arts experience, and monthly stipends. The program's mission is to preserve the cultural identity of Artsakh and ensure the continuity of this heritage among the younger generation.
