VI Finatlon Forum: Future Professionals on the Path to Sustainable Development

The VI Finatlon Forum, an international science conference dedicated to sustainable development, investment, and financial risk management, has concluded. This forum served as a unique platform for young scientists, students, postgraduates, and educators, offering them the opportunity to present their innovative ideas and projects. This time, more than 900 young professionals took part, with their work spanning a wide range of pressing topics.
The VI Finatlon Forum was organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Bank of Russia, and other leading organizations. The selection stage identified 426 finalists whose projects stood out for their high level of scientific analysis and practical relevance. The forum’s plenary session brought together leading experts in economics and finance. Among the speakers were: M. V. Mamuta, Head of the Service for Consumer Protection of Financial Services and Financial Accessibility at the Bank of Russia; M. Yu. Golovnin, Director of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences; and G. S. Klimenko, Head of the Digital Economy Development Fund.
Special attention this year was given to the forum’s thematic sections, which covered all key areas of contemporary economic and social development. Across 21 sections, participants discussed topics such as sustainable development and ESG, investment and capital management, the digital economy and fintech, financial literacy and inclusion, risk management and insurance, government regulation and international cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship, the development of transport and social infrastructure, as well as education, demography, and human capital formation. This wide scope enabled every participant to find a relevant field for research and professional growth.
Following the final round, more than 70 winners were selected for their outstanding achievements in sustainable development and financial innovation. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Professor I. V. Kostikov, remarked:
“The next, VII Finatlon Forum, is planned for September 2025, with the final conference scheduled for November 24–26, 2025. We are witnessing a steady increase in both the number of participants and the quality of the works submitted, and we look forward to the continued growth of the Finatlon Forum.”
The VII International Scientific and Practical Conference will once again bring together students, postgraduates, young educators, and specialists from around the world. Under the motto “Professionals of the Future,” it will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, discussion of current trends, and the generation of new ideas in sustainable development and finance. Participants will have the opportunity not only to present their work, but also to interact with leading experts, opening new horizons for their professional development.
