YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. Armenian State Revenue Committee has reported the discovery of a case involving shadow turnover amounting to 1.3 billion drams at an electronics store in the capital./pp
According to the press service, operational information indicated that the store on Sebastia Street was selling household appliances and electrical equipment for cash without providing a cash register receipt, thereby evading taxes./pp
The audits confirmed this information. The company's director had internal accounting documentation and other data confiscated from his work computers. The examination of the documents verified the concealment of sales turnover amounting to approximately 1.3 billion drams from 2021 to 2024. Preliminary estimates indicate that the state suffered losses of 337 million drams./pp
A criminal case has been initiated by the Main Department for Combating Economic Crimes and Smuggling of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
