Vice-Governor of the Samara Region heads the Board of Directors of FC "Wings of Soviets"

The vice-governor of the Samara region, Dmitry Yakovlev, has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of the soccer club Wings of Soviets. This is evidenced by a publication on the club's website on January 16.

The first meeting in the renewed composition was held earlier in the day.

Currently, "Krylia Sovetov" after the 18th round occupy the tenth place in the standings of the Russian Premier League with 18 points.

Earlier on December 20, 2024, Pavel Kamantsev, chairman of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Referee Committee, announced the completion of the inspection of FC Krylia Sovetov matches following allegations of corruption by Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. He noted, among other things, that the latter had every reason to raise the issue.
