More than two dozen seniors returned to an East Vancouver care facility Sunday afternoon after being evacuated because of a fire. The elderly residents of Villa Carital on Penticton Street were forced to flee the building just before 4 a.m. when flames and thick smoke from an adjacent alley was spotted.
