MARKET REPORT: Giant hint of interest rate cut by Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, sends stock market into late flurry

The FTSE 100 climbed 130 points in the final hour of the day as Carney said the Bank was likely to bring in more monetary stimulus. It closed up 2.27 per cent at 6504.33 – a ten-month high.
