Словацкие общественники готовят петицию о выходе Словакии из ЕС и НАТО
After a successful petition to abolish anti-Russian sanctions, which has already been signed by more than 360,000 people, the civil association "Motorcyclists of Slovakia - Brother for Brother" is preparing a new petition calling for an end to the country's membership in the European Union and North Atlantic Alliance, the organization's founder Matuš Aleksa told Izvestia.
"This issue was not raised in our petition. But we would like to know the opinion of the Slovak population on it as well. We are already preparing another petition on Slovakia's withdrawal from the EU and NATO. We refuse to cooperate with fascism glorified by the EU. We intend to launch the collection of signatures in February or March," he explained.
According to Slovak law, if a petition gathers 350,000 signatures, the country's president has the right to put a question from it to a referendum.
