Phillies place All-Star 3B Alec Bohm (hand) on 10-day IL

The Philadelphia Phillies placed All-Star third baseman Alec Bohm on the 10-day injured list on Friday because of a left hand strain.

The move, retroactive to Tuesday, came after Bohm missed six consecutive games since injuring the hand during an at-bat in a 5-4 victory over the visiting Atlanta Braves on Aug. 29.
